According to a recent study by the International Telecommunication Union, nearly 128 countries have enacted legislation to protect data and privacy. However, the rapid advancement of technology and the increasing volume of data generated daily present new challenges that require urgent attention.
We must ensure data standards, FAIRness (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable), and cross-domain interoperability to create a solid foundation for responsible data management. We also need to support countries-
# Developing and implementing robust data governance frameworks that prioritize privacy and security.
# Investing in research and development to create privacy-enhancing technologies and techniques.
# Fostering collaboration between stakeholders, including governments, businesses, academia, and civil society, to share best practices and develop innovative solutions.
# Promoting digital literacy and awareness among citizens empowers them to make informed decisions about their data.
Managing data privacy risks in advanced analytics is not just a technical issue but a human rights issue that demands our collective action. A five approach is shown here to preserve data privacy. Each approach to preserving the privacy of personal data will have an effect on the degree to which the data set remains useful for AI and analytics.
